FAQs

Usage
• Woodlands Farm Dog Fields are for personal, non-commercial use only. All dogs must be accompanied by their owners. Shared bookings with friends who bring their own dogs are permitted.
• Any other use, including 'business' activities, must be agreed by Woodlands Farm and confirmed in writing prior to making a booking.
• Maximum online booking in one day is 2hrs 15mins. Call me prior to booking if more time is required.
How secure is it?
The main perimeter fence is 6ft dog specific, high tensile fencing, much of which also has a top strand of wire making it over 6ft.
One small area of track has fencing approx 5.5ft as it sits in front of a high bank/hedge/trees, so unless your dog is likely to jump the fence straight into the thicket then it does not pose an isuue. This area can be avoided if preferred.
The woodland and one field are fenced separately within the centre of the land, so these are double fenced.
The majority of the perimeter has folded under wire to deter wildlife burrowing under the fenceline, however we cannot guarantee that on occassion small holes may appear, the perimeter fence is checked on a regular basis.
There are several 6 inch drian pipes around the perimiter, so if your dog can fit through this size hole then the area would not be suitable for your dog.
If your dog can jump, climb or actively dig under the fencing, then the area would not be suitable for your dog.
How suitable is it for reactive dogs?
You will be the only booking on site and have sole use of the whole area during your booked time.
There is one small section highlighted on the map where livestock can be seen, it is separately fenced, has warning signs on the gates and can be avoided completely if required.
